Former Communications Director of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akomea insists that despite the keen contest in the NPP's upcoming flagbearership race, the party's two-time presidential candidate (Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo) is the party's only hope for the 2016 presidential election.
According to him, notwithstanding the brouhaha surrounding Nana Addo's third attempt to be President, he is expected by all of bringing back the presidency to the elephant fraternity.
Speaking on Asempa FM, the former NPP legislator publicly declared his support for Nana Addo ahead of the party's Special Delegates Congress which will prune down the number of qualified aspirants from seven [7] to five [5] on 31st August, 2014.
'Though all aspirants are capable to lead us…I think for now Nana Addo is the right person to lead the party to victory in 2016,' he noted.
