Demonstration has been organised to take place in London (the heart of England), on Friday 29th August, against the EC of Ghana for ignoring the need to take actions to ensure a clean register. The EC has refused to allow either internal or any independent audit of the 2012 register before registering new people to be added into the existing questionable register, so as to assure Ghanaians a credible elections in 2016.

The reforms suggested by some of the Supreme Court judges after the eight months petition hearing, to be implemented to help make Ghana elections credible, all have been blatantly ignored by the EC.

This demonstration has been organised by a pressure group called Concerned Ghanaians Against Electoral Fraud (COGEF-UK), calling all Ghanaians in and around London, to meet together in front of Ghana High Commission, 13 Belgrave Square, Central London, on Friday 29th August, at 9:00AM prompt to present petition to the Ghana High Commissioner, H.E. Victor Emmanuel Smith.

After that, the Group will lead the Ghanaians demonstrating to present a similar petition to the Office of the UK Prime Minister, Mr David Cameron at No.10 Dawning Street, at approximately 12:30PM.

Ghanaians will commemorate this day, marking exactly one year when the 9 member Supreme Court justices delivered a miscarriage judgement of the 2012 election petition presented to them by three decent law abiding Ghanaians.

"We will commiserate this day with one voice and shout to the hearing of the whole world that; ON THIS DAY LAST YEAR, THE APEX COURT IN GHANA RAPED AND ABUSED AN ANTICIPATED MEMORABLE JUSTICE DELIVERY IN GHANA".

We demand that the EC must allow the auditing of the voters register, remove the 245,000 names of Ghanaians fraudulently registered abroad and other minors registered, before the recently registered Ghanaians are added, so as to have register reflecting the actual number of Ghanaians on the voter list.

WE ARE INVITING ALL GHANAIANS ON FRIDAY!!!
