Oxfam America and the African Centre for Energy Policy have launched a new report on Ghana's management of oil revenues, three years into production. Oil has already overtaken cocoa as the second largest export commodity of Ghana, and production is expected to increase. So far, this newfound wealth has been handled with greater transparency but a lack of accountability. This report examines how oil wealth has been managed and what could be improved.
