Dr. Valentine Bloomfield, an African American College professor who said he heard the announcement on a radio station and decided to attended told news media after the event that “The youth constitute the bulk of the population in Africa and for that matter Ghana as such it is expected that these initiatives would serve as the opportunity for the youth to recognize their self worth and be psyched up to serve as the future leaders.

The new Millennium provides the youth the prospect for them to be involved in national development since they are potential leaders of any Nation.”
