Conakry (AFP) - At least 33 people, including 11 children, died in a stampede at a rap concert on a beach in the Guinean capital Conakry, police said on Wednesday, raising the overnight toll by nine.
Police said the victims were trampled underfoot on Rogbane beach, in a northern suburb, as thousands surged to the exits after popular rap group "Instinct Killers" headlined a show on Tuesday to mark the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
