Civilian Assistance To Gaza

Even as Hamas led Gaza fires hundreds and thousands of rockets at Israel, Israel remains committed to the humanitarian needs of the Civilians who suffer from this aggression led by their leaders, leaders who reside mostly outside of Gaza (in Qatar, Egypt and Jordan) but drag their people with total disregard into a violent conflict. It is ironic, in the darkest meaning of the term, that it is in fact Israel who cares for the people of Gaza more than their own leaders.

Clearly portrayed in Hamas bombing of the Field Hospital constructed by Israel that was giving medical care for the people hurt in Gaza. Or by the Gaza health services refusal to accept medication sent by the 'Magen David Adom", Israel's branch of the Red Cross.

Of course that the refusals of the Hamas leaders to accept the ceasefires brought forward by Israel, Egypt and the UN is another such example - even as Israel declared that she accepted one-sidedly to ceasefire - Hamas terrorists maintained to fire rockets at an even more extreme rate - their intent only to disrupt the wellbeing of their own people.

It is in clear and stark contradiction to the behavior of the Hamas terrorists, when you inspect this report by COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories) that is issued daily on the actions taken by the Israeli government to offer Civilian Assistance to Gaza. 1248 Trucks full of supplies, nearly 5 Million liters of Diesel and 3.5 Liters of Benzene, 1,577 Tons of Gas for domestic use. All of which added to the Field Hospital dedicated to the people of Gaza and the assistance to 1717 people who chose to leave Gaza and enter Israel as well as 1257 who chose to get back into the Gaza strip.

While 2538 Rockets were fired by Hamas Terrorists, Israeli workers have conducted 25 electric repairs, 15 water supply repairs, 4 sewage repairs and 3 communication repairs - all for the sole benefit of the innocent civilians of Gaza - All under ricks of life while Hamas attacks continued.

Israel is fighting a bitter and vicious enemy, a terrorist organization akin to Boko Haram and Al Queada - But it's dedication and commitment to limiting civilian harm and to protecting the humanitarian needs of the innocents in Gaza remains intact, even under fire.
