Ghanaian Muslims In Germany Asked To Pray For NPP

Chairman of NPP Germany Branch, Alhassan Yakubu Tali, has asked Ghanaian Muslims in Germany to pray for NPP to return to power in 2016 to save Ghana from total economic collapse.

Mr. Yakubu Tali, who addressed Ghanaians after Eid prayers in Düsseldorf, said it is important for all Muslims who love the country to pray for NPP to come back to power in 2016.

He reminded the Muslims of the fact that, the NPP government from 2000 to 2008 transformed the economy from a HIPC economy to a lower middle emerging market economy. The economy grew from an amazing dollar size of 5 billion dollars to over 60 billion dollars. An enabling environment was created in which businesses thrived, creating employment opportunities for millions of Ghanaians.

The NPP government, as a result of this success, created social safety nets and interventions that took care of the under privileged in the society. Millions of Ghanaians were lifted out of poverty and millions; especially the youth were gainfully employed for the first time.

The economic situation today, under the NDC government is miserable. Inflation is out of control, the national currency is becoming worthless and all the social interventions that the NPP designed and implemented have either collapsed or become un-operational Mr. Yakubu Tali told the Muslims that 2016 presents an opportunity to vote in the NPP back to power, so that Ghana can once again embark upon a successful journey that will transform the economy.

Lift our people out of poverty and generate job opportunities and as well create an enabling environment so that every Ghanaian can achieve his or her God given potential.

He told the Muslims that future generations of Ghanaians will not forgive us, if we fail to vote

out the NDC in 2016.
Mr. Yakubu Tali asked the Muslims to pray for Ex. President Kufuor, Nana Akufo Addo, Dr

Bawumia and all the national executives of the party.
