Activist Berates Akwa Ibom SSG Over Age Scam

A renowned youth activist Ime Onofiok has raised alarm over what he describes as age fraud by supporters of the Mr Udom Emmanuel, the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government.

Mr Onofiok who is also a teacher complained that better results come out when public information comes from a central and authorized source, instead of various uncoordinated individuals. According to him "I am just thinking aloud, why the calibre of persons that wish to rule our dear state can't be truthful, in common things like their years of birth. Can a man with two different years of birth claim to be disciplined and trustworthy?...

On 28th of July, there was a release by the Transformation Initiative to the effect that our very resourceful SSG, Mr Udom Emmanuel will be 52 on the 11th of July...As we all were preparing to wish the man a happy 52nd birthday, come another by Essien Ndueso, notifying us of Udom's 48th birthday, and I said, ah! Can someone who climbed to such position in banking have two years of birth?

Guys, the whole thing isn't a 419 arrangement, because the state of ndito Abasi deserve men of integrity in governmental positions?, concludes Mr Onofiok.

Udom Emmanuel is a seasoned banker, and secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government. He is one of the frontline aspirants to the office of state Governor.
