Christians Urged To Devote Quality Time For God

Participants at the just ended maiden edition of the Spirit Life Conference on the theme 'Diplomatic Immunity' have been urged to devote quality time to fellowship and study the word of God.

Apostle Timothy Epha Agyei who gave the advice was says that was the surest ways they could be led by the spirit of God in the victorious journey of life in Christ.

The conference was aimed at enlightening participants about their rights and authority in Christ and also the power with which they must operate with the knowledge of Christ.

Apostle Timothy Agyei pointed out dispensational truth and external truth as the two vital things to know when studying the word of God.

According to him the commandment in the Old Testament was a dispensational truth that was only to be relevant among humanity in a period of time but not to last forever adding that eternal truth has the power and mandate to last forever without coming to an end.

'There is a difference between the image of God and the likeness of God, the image of God talks about the nature of God while the likeness of God talks about His character', he stated.

'Believers have for such a long time been wrongly described and categorized into a religion that isn't the right description of believers of Christ', he lamented.

He says unbelief was the biggest factor that had restrained many believers from enjoying their inheritance in Christ adding that by virtue of the knowledge of Christ, one is given the key to the overcoming life in Christ Jesus.'

Prophet John Adu Boahen, Head of The Sons of the Prophet Incorporated (TSOPI), organizers of the Spirit life conference (SLC), promised the event will be organized annually. He dropped hints that the organizers are would make now organize the event quarterly.

He further advised the participants to ensure they put the knowledge acquired into good use to help build strengthen their walk with God.
