Occupy Front Lawns Of Flagstaff House—The Police Has Been Duly Notified
29.06.2014 LISTEN

I wrote the article titled 'OCCUPY FRONT LAWNS OF FLAGSTAFF HOUSE ON 1ST JULY 2014 @6AM' which has been published and shared across Ghana in support of CONCERNED GHANAIANS FOR RESPONSIBLE GOVERNANCE (CGRG) invitation to likeminded Ghanaians to join hands on the Lawns of the Flagstaff House on 1st July, 2014 for a peaceful protest to request the government to do more than it is doing now to address the hardship in Ghana.

Many friends desirous of joining this peaceful event have inquired whether the police have been notified about it. I am happy to serve for your satisfaction a copy of the notice served on the Police (25th June, 2014).

We may take judicious note of the fact that CONCERNED GHANAIANS FOR RESPONSIBLE GOVERNANCE (CGRG) are not agents of REGIME CHANGE. The sole purpose of the event as I understand is to make a contribution to the building of our country with the use of peaceful protest in line with the Laws of the land.

Organizers of Occupy Front Lawns of Flagstaff House are lawful citizens and have conscience and would therefore not put the life of people and the security of the country they are jealously fighting for its future at risk by not notifying the Police of such an event. The police were duly notified way back in June.

Friends in and around Accra may join. Those of us who cannot make it because of location and other challenges can share this message and tell a friend to tell the other friends that the Police has been notified that we are 'Occupying the Front Lawns of the Flagstaff House' on1st July at 6am .
