Beware! Yeshua’s Resurrection Was Not on A Sunday Morning!! (Part 2 of 2)

Beware! Yeshuas Resurrection Was Not on A Sunday Morning!! Part 2 of 2
28.04.2014 LISTEN

A study of Elohim's instructions in the Torah in Vayikra 23:5-8 (or Leviticus in the English Bible) on Passover, and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which must immediately follow Passover, reveal Nisan 14, 15, and 21 as fixed date Sabbath days ordained by Elohim, different from the more popularly known Seventh-day Sabbath days that fall in every week of the year!!

Thus, in every year, Passover week has a plurality of Sabbath days of at least three; increasing to four in number when a normal Seventh-day Sabbath falls within this period of Nisan 14-21, but not coinciding with any of the three dates of 14, 15, and 21!!

The mention of “preparation day” in connection with the rushed burial of Yeshua was, obviously, thus, NOT in reference to preparations on a Friday toward an incoming Seventh-day Sabbath, as many, many Christian faithful have wrongly believed, but in reference to the coming Passover day!!

This one big misunderstanding of the scriptures by all Christians has misled them to perpetually err in tenaciously holding that Yeshua was killed and buried on Friday—as if Friday is the only “preparation day” in the year they know!! Why, for well over one and a half millennia, Christians have been made by their leaders to believe this error as if it is truth beats imagination!

This error of Christians, in addition to their claims that Yeshua resurrected on a Sun-day morning—when obviously, no being (Divine, angelic, or human) can count out of a period spanning from their supposed Friday evening burial to their claimed Sun-day resurrection, the three nights and three days that are necessary for Yeshua's resurrection—should have in all these many years tickled their minds, at least once, to reconsider the days in which they believe the sacrifice and resurrection of Yeshua happened!!

Also, the obvious logic that resurrection hour must coincide perfectly with the burial hour should have tickled the minds of Christian leaders to see the impossibility in an early morning resurrection, since they themselves put out that Yeshua was buried at sunset!!

Why they would hold on to this illogical Sun-day resurrection for so long beats imagination! Are Christian leaders ashamed to admit error and be corrected, or are they callously toying with the salvation of their followers?

Let us begin to make some analysis of days and dates surrounding Yeshua's death, burial, and resurrection! Yeshua died on Nisan 13, the “preparation day” to Passover day of Nisan 14. Then he was laid in the tomb at the sunset hour that commenced Nisan 14. His resurrection would then, as a matter of course, be at the sunset hour that commenced Nisan 17.

While Yeshua's body rested in the tomb, Israel started to celebrate the week-long Feast of Unleavened Bread from Nisan 15-21, following the Passover of Nisan 14. Nisan 15 is a fixed date Sabbath and so nobody goes out because the anti-work Sabbath law confined all Israelites within their gates.

So, nobody went out on this day to check out on Yeshua to know if he was still resting in his tomb! In any case, at the start of Nisan 15, at sunset, Yeshua would have been only one night and one day old in the tomb and, therefore, far from the scheduled three nights and three days to his resurrection.

The start of Nisan 16 could not also be the resurrection time since Yeshua would have been sleeping in the tomb for only two nights and two days! In any case, from our little arithmetic, Yeshua must have to resurrect on Nisan 17, at its sunset starting point, and not on Nisan 16.

Now, let us consider something Christians have never thought of! The biblical record states that Mary Magdalene saw the tomb empty early Sun-day morning but never claimed she watched Yeshua resurrecting right before her eyes at that time!

Fact is, she made her discovery after an entire Saturday of one night and one day preceding this Sun-day and almost one night of twelve hours of this same Sun-day she was in, had elapsed! And so, we all must know and accept that for almost thirty-six long hours preceding her discovery of the empty tomb, Mary Magdalene had no witness that Yeshua was still in the tomb or had left it!

Looking backwards from her time of discovery, we see these thirty-six long hours to comprise twelve night hours of the Sun-day, then twelve day and twelve night hours of a Saturday—a Seventh-day Sabbath—in which no one was permitted to work or to go trekking beyond certain distances to enable anyone have knowledge of any happenings in the tomb in which Yeshua lay!

If we move this full Seventh-day Sabbath to join with the end or the sundown of Nisan 16, we would arrive at the start of Nisan 17, which by our little arithmetic done earlier on, had to be the scheduled resurrection hour and date!

What this simply means is that, at the start of the Seventh-day Sabbath, which was Nisan 17, 30 CE, Yeshua resurrected, but this resurrection was yet to be known by anyone except the Good Father, who alone watched it happen, live, on screen in His Throne Room!!

Was it not to be expected by all Creation that the resurrection day of Yeshua must be on the rest day of Elohim? Was it not to be expected that Yeshua would be resting from his hard work at ensuring salvation for mankind on the Holy Rest Day of Elohim—the Seventh-day Sabbath day—which He Himself chose, set apart, and hallowed for Him and all His children to rest in?

For Elohim, every event He establishes as a memorial is fixed and set well ahead of its day of occurrence! It is mankind who must wait for events to happen before establishing the times they happened in commemoration of them!!

So, Elohim predetermined long before the foundations of Earth were laid that He would raise His Son from the dead whenever His clock struck sunset on Nisan 17, 30 CE, which He predetermined to be a Seventh-day Sabbath!!

By this proof of a Seventh-day or Saturday resurrection, we can deduce that, Nisan 13, the date on which Yeshua was sacrificed, was without doubt, a Tuesday; and that, his burial day which was at the sunset which commenced Nisan 14—Passover day—was a Wednesday!!

The belief of Christians that the resurrection of Yeshua was on a Sun-day is totally wrong!! They got it all wrong because they based their calculations on the wrong assumption that the “preparation day” mentioned in relation to the burial of Yeshua was in relation to a Friday!!

This has misled them into the over-veneration of Sun-day, over and above the Seventh-day Sabbath—Saturday (or is it Saturn-day or Satan-day?)—which, since Creation, and as commanded in the Torah, is to be eternally hallowed by all seekers of Elohim's salvation!!

The coming of Easter Sun-day is the result of this error in taking the resurrection day of Yeshua from a Seventh-day of the week to Sun-day!! The celebration of Easter Sun-day, and all its so-called Holy Thursday, Good Friday, etc, are all thus, without the mandate and wisdom of Elohim!

Since whatever mankind does without the mandate of Elohim is sinful to Him, the observance of Easter and all its associated activities do not please Him—“for whatever is not of faith is a sin” (Romans 14:23)!
