Tamale, April 25, GNA - Prices of commodities in Tamale have remained stable with slight increases in the prices of minor commodities such as maize, millet and local rice.
Major commodities such as tomatoes, yam, onion, beans and pepper rice had stable prices to end the week in the two main Tamale Central and Aboabo markets where the GNA conducted the survey on Friday.
Maize, which was being sold at GH ¢ 1.50 last week is now being sold at GH ¢ 1.70, millet now sells at ¢ instead of last weeks price of GH ¢ 2.50 and local rice goes for GH ¢ 4.50, an increase of between GH ¢ 0.50 and GH ¢ 1.00.
Other commodities such as yam,local rice, soya beans, beans and cow pea are selling at same price as last week.
