Flycotec Company limited, a real estate development firm at Kasoa in the Central Region, has donated food items to the Good Shepherd Orphanage at Ofankor near Kasoa.

The items, valued at about GH¢1,500, included bags of rice, sachet water, vegetable oil, yams and beverages.

The General Manager of Flycotec Company Limited, Thomas Mensah, said the donation formed part of the company's corporate social responsibility.

Mr Mensah urged the managers of the home to use the items judiciously, adding that they should continue to nurture and give hope to the children.

Flycotec, according to Edwin Aboagye, site manager, has over the last four years gained specialty in real estate development to benefit its clients.

He stated that the company, which is into sale of land, physical planning, architectural services and land surveying, has also acquired a large tract of waterfront land known as 'Atlantic City.'

The Site Manager further added that houses under the Atlantic City project would be sold or rented out to prospective clients.

Public Relations Manager of the orphanage, Michael Baidoo, who received the items on behalf of the director of the home, expressed appreciation to the company for the donation.
