President John Dramani Mahama has for some months now been harping on about the need for all Ghanaians to support and patronized made in Ghana products to help boost the economy.
The President, who has given every indication of his desire to promote made in Ghana products by patronizing attire and footwear made by Ghanaian entrepreneurs, also wants young entrepreneurs to be determined and creative in their style of work.
To this end, he has made available GH¢10 million as seed money for youth who are ready to set up small- and medium-scale enterprises.
According to the president, the future of the country “belongs to the brave and bold”.
The announcement of the GH¢10 million was culled from the president Facebook wall.
“I have made available GH¢10 million to enable youth to start up small- and medium-scale businesses. I call upon you, young entrepreneurs: if you have a plan and if you are determined to make your ideas come to life, please seize this opportunity. The future belongs to the brave and bold,” he posted on his Facebook page.
