Kenzo's Place, men's grooming & beauty salon in Accra, has donated assorted items worth about GH¢2,800 to the Dzorwulu Special School in Accra.

The items included four bags of rice, gari, flip-flops, pastries, drinks, washing powder, soap, fabrics for school uniform, cooking oil, powdered milk and cocoa powder.

The children were feted at a brief party and presented with drinks and pastries.

Sakyiwaa Mensah, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the saloon, said the gesture was primarily aimed at showing love and support to the children in the school.

She stated that the donation was in line with the company's corporate social responsibility, adding that 'this donation is also to put some smiles on the faces of the children, especially during this Easter celebration.'

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Isaac Okyere, expressed gratitude to Kenzo's Place Salon for the donation.

Kenzo's Place, which is located at Cantonments, Accra, offers professional salon and beauty services to people.

The staff were trained by one of London's best hair stylists to give Ghanaians nothing but long lasting perfect looks.

Fredrick Tetteh, Assistant Headmaster of the school, said the items would be put to good use.
