He said vices like bribery, corruption, negative attitudes to the environment and to work, cronyism, armed robbery and internet fraud ended up re-bruising the wounds of Christ.

Rev Acquaye, who was preaching on the "Power of Christ's Resurrection" on Easter Sunday, urged Christians to distance themselves from these vices if they professed to follow the teachings of the Bible.

"Say no to the vices, we, as Christians, find ourselves indulging in including fornication and leading adulterous lives which are not tenets of modernity but sinful behaviour that will receive full judgment," he said.

He said Christ's resurrection meant rebirth, re-awakening, rebranding, revival and that power should cause a sudden positive change in the lives of Ghanaians, businesses, country's resources and attitudes to work and the environment.

Rev Acquaye appealed to political, religious, traditional and business leadership to exude the principles of their faith as efforts to rebrand society for the good of all.

"Desist from becoming a medium for the second crucifixion of Christ Jesus," he said.
