Boston (AFP) - Kenya's Rita Jeptoo won her second consecutive Boston Marathon women's title and third overall on Monday, setting a new course record in the process.
Jeptoo won in an unofficial time of 2 hours, 18 minutes and 57 seconds to claim her third Boston victory after wins in 2006 and 2013.
Ethiopia's Buzunesh Deba finished second.
