Tata Motors, Indian's largest automobile company, has unveiled two new brands known as Tata Aria and Tata onto the Ghanaian market.

The new Tata Aria 4×4 is powered by a proven and frugal Tata 2.2L turbocharged, intercooled Dicor diesel engine. Tata Aria comes with several safety features like Driver Air Bag.

Powered by 1.4L Safire petrol engine, generating 90PS of power, the Tata Manza is a spacious sedan and comes with a Driver Air Bag.

It comes with an Antilock Braking system with Electronic Brake Force Distribution and a host of features like all contemporary infotainment called Bluetooth 5, which is capable of pairing five smartphones for hands-free during driving.

Mr. Thamibele, Managing Director, Tata Africa, in a speech at the launch of Aria and Manza in Accra on Wednesday, said 'the launch of the new passenger vehicles from Tata Motors is yet another step towards consolidating Tata Ghana's commitment to aspiring customers.

With Tata's wide network and service support from its new partner, Modern Auto Services, Tata Motors is confident that its customers across the country would 'continue to have a smooth ride, according to him.

Johnny Oommen, Head, International Business-Passenger Vehicles, Tata Motors disclosed that Ghana is one of the key markets for Tata Motors in Africa.

He said the company intends to constantly introduce new products onto the market to augment its presence in the country.

Commenting on Tata Motors's partnership with Modern Auto Services, who are mandated to distribute Tata Manza and Aria in the country, he said 'we have confidence in Modern Auto Services, and we believe that their extensive network along with our global expertise will bring into the African market a range of exciting Tata passenger vehicles.'
