Somalia cabinet ministers had their usual meeting in Mogadishu today, the meeting was chaired by deputy prime minister and minister for religious affairs Ridwan Mohamed Hersi.

The ministers discussed wide range issues including the problems Somali nationals are facing in Kenya, security issues, sending emergency relief to the areas taken over by government forces and African union troops and the decision of the federal parliament to halt the issuance of national identity card.

The cabinet ministers welcomed the decision of the federal parliament to stop the issuance of national identity cards.

After the meeting the deputy prime minister held press conference and stated that the federal government of Somalia is worried about the problems facing Somali citizens in Kenya.

Finally the deputy prime minister said that the cabinet agreed to send humanitarian relief to all areas that came under the control of federal government of Somalia after the joint offensive military against Al-shabab.

They praised the visit of Prime minister Abdiweli to Jowhar and Bulo Burde and described it as a sign of a positive step towards development achieved by the federal government of Somalia.
