Africa Italy Excellence Awards Launched In Rome

The media launch of the third Africa Italy Excellence Awards, organized by powerhouse, Divino Event, is scheduled to come off on Tuesday, 5th November 2013, at Campidoglio, located on top of the Capitol Hill in Rome, headquarters of the Italian Government.

As part of the media launch, stakeholders will engage participants on the topics "The double presence and the double absence of the Africans migrant" and " The threefold participation of the African migrant in Europe and in Africa contest". Also at the event, the list of nominees for the various categories in the 2013 edition of the Awards will be unveiled, marking the commencement of the online voting process.

The Africa Italy Excellence Awards is to acknowledge the accomplishments of Africans in Italy as well as the rest of Europe who have contributed to the developmental of human capital within the African communities. Also, the Awards seek to encourage and support Africans in their effort to impact their communities as well as to honor non-African individuals and organizations contributing to the transformation of African societies.

This year's event is being held in collaboration with the adjunct consular of Rome, Redani and the ITGH Chambers of Commerce and promises to be once again the biggest gathering of African professionals and companies in Europe.

The event has received the endorsement of the European Parliament (signed by President Schulz Martin), the Municipality of Rome (Rome Mayor, Honorable Ignanzio Marino) and the Unar National Office, under the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Online voting is at divinoeventorg.net and ends on the 29 of November with a 55% vote weight for the public and 45% for the Award's Legal Affairs Committee, compose of renowned expects in the fields of immigration, economics, information technologies and more.

Winners will be announced at the Awards night scheduled for 30th November 2013, at the prestigious auditorium of the Chambers of Commerce in Brescia.
