The Battle of two Hearts
19.10.2013 LISTEN

Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak will this weekend travel to the Volta coast to play as guest to giant killers Hearts of Lions at the Kpando Park as the Ghana Premier League enters week 7.

Hearts of Lions since joining the elite division has proven to be a boggy side for the big wings of Ghana football and will certainly try to clump down the sudden renaissance of the Phobia boys on Sunday but Hearts knowing that a slip will further open the gap between them and Kotoko will go to Kpando with all their arsenals.

Lions sit on the fourth position with eleven points whiles Hearts of Oak is second with fifteen points.

At the Bechem Park, new entrant Bechem United will welcome defending champions and league leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors are yet to drop a point in this year's league and will be looking forward to maintaining this enviable feet but Bechem united may have other ideas.

Kotoko is on top of the ladder with eighteen points whiles Bechem united is sixth with nine points. Coach Didi Dramani's side looks fearsome at this stage of the competition and looks likely to run away with the three points at stake but the home side can shock the Porcupine Warriors if care is not taken.

At the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi, soccer miners Ashantigold fc will play as host to Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs. The soccer miners occupy the third spot with twelve points whiles Dwarfs are ninth position with seven points.

Ashantigold has been one of the best sides in the new season and would like to add Dwarfs to their snick of conquers but Ebusua Dwarfs have also enjoyed some good stories in times past at the Len Clay Stadium and will be looking forward to give a good account of themselves.

Scientific soccer lads, Liberty Professionals will entertain Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium. Liberty is eighth on the log with eight points whiles Aduana is fifth with ten points.

Liberty has been quite unpredictable this season and as such difficult to predict. Aduana on the other side cannot be underestimated on any day.

Former Champions League campaigners Berekum Chelsea will host New Edubiase united at the Golden City Park. This is clearly a battle between two clubs who have lost their former form.

Chelsea is twelfth on the table with an unbelievable five points whiles New Edubiase sits on the fourteenth position with the same five points.

At the Tema Community 3 Park, Amidaus Professionals will welcome All Stars. Amidaus is seventh on the ladder with eight points whiles All Stars are tenth with seven points.

Bottom clubs, Hasaacas and Inter Allies will battle for operation 'Three Points' at the Essipong Stadium in Sekondi. The two sides has taken the fifteenth and the sixteenth spot respectively with Hasaacas amassing three points whiles Inter Allies is still fighting for a point.

However, at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium today, Alhaji Grunsah's King Faisal will welcome Medeama Sporting Club in an uncompromising affair. Faisal is thirteenth on the log with five points whiles Medeama is eleventh with seven points.
