Automobile Industries At Kumasi

Feature Article Automobile Industries At Kumasi
SEP 8, 2013 LISTEN

We have made it clear that Kumasi should be the centre for Ghana Automobile industries. There is no way it should wait for Ho, Accra, or Bolgatanga's response before it would commence these industries at Ghana industrial hub. Already we should seek the effort of the NPP shadow financial minister to be organising a number of discreet conferences at Kumasi in certain localities to be able to acquaint himself with potential members of the team of engineers while the party at the same time commence organising toward the 2016 General Election.

It has been reiterated that a team of engineers should be selected from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Magazin, and also some independent engineers' help should be sought, such as, Apostle Kwadwo Osafo. We envisage that with this team in place, we should be capable of giving two Native Ghanaian Models of cars that will generate not only jobs for the masses but also market for the emerging economies of African countries.

The preliminary meetings should be organised each month before and until the 2016 General Elections. The purpose of these meetings is to give the shadow financial Minister of the NPP the opportunity to air their needs and wants in preparation toward the establishment of these industries. Minutes should be written down and these should then give the team of engineers some data to help them organise their own separate meetings without the minister to draw concrete plans about future prospect of the auto industries in Ghana.

The need to acquire a possible industrial site should be met by the Minister himself contacting the Otumfo Osei Tutu II at his Manhyia Palace. This purpose should also be communicated to the Unity figure of Ghana that his kingdom fortunately seems to be the most appropriate place to ground these important industries due to the fact that it has the essential resources and human capital to commence this important complex of activities. Kumasi Magazin, has not only contributed to the advancement of certain industries in Ghana, but also has achieved popularity home and abroad for its generation of competent engineers around the West Africa car manufacturing business and reparation.

Contact with investors from Holland, USA, and Germany should be hunted, but it seems this should not present a major problem, especially once the team members have brought their plans and technical information to the Minister with the ascendance of the NPP to the seat of government after the 2016 General Elections. Here, government initiative should be able to guarantee initial capital while major partners abroad are being sought diligently by government Minister or convoy. This manner of grounding important industries, which could add a major win to the country's economy, is being emulated from way the Swedish major industries were formed. Government should therefore create avenues and the conducive climate for certain needed companies and industries to thrive well in the country.

It is possible that the two models of car we are thinking of could be cars that not only help the economy to grow but something that raise the self-esteem and confidence of the country' inhabitants (e.g. India). This is the reason why we should make the attempt to initiate technological effort that offer the people and the country that we are capable of doing it just like all the advanced countries that commenced some centuries ago to build something that gave confidence to its numerous inhabitants and engineers. The need to employ team work to accomplish such an important venture is also very important. The nation must understand that greater heights could be reached if we continue to work like this manner and also seek cooperation abroad in order to accomplish many important tasks regarding the nation's development.
