Pastor Johnson Owusu, head of the Kumasi South Conference of SDA, said at the time most people were apprehensive about the election hearing, the opposition leader demonstrated he meant well for the nation by conceding defeat without delay to ease tension.

Describing the NPP presidential candidate as the man of peace, the SDA pastor commended Nana Addo for committing to peace in the heat of crisis.

'It is gratifying to note that even before anyone could think of an action, the NPP leader opted for peace for the sake and interest of Ghana. This is remarkable,' he stated in his remarks at the camp meeting of New Edubiase SDA on Saturday.

Pastor Owusu said Nana Addo for the second time had showcased his love for the country as someone whose interest is to serve.

He asked people to learn how to forgive in order to win souls for the Lord.

Pastor Owusu urged Ghanaians not to vilify the Justices of the Supreme Court for their decisions while urging for circumspection of utterances by politicians.

Members of the church's Women Fellowship used the occasion to donate assorted items to the New Edubiase Government Hospital.
