LAGOS August 26, 2013 - In line with its vision to connect people and businesses in the global economy, Links Publications, owners of The International Links Magazine recently unveiled its median edition to the Nigerian community at an official launch which was held at the Muson centre in Lagos. The theme of the event was 'Nigerians: Let's Do it Right!'

It was a gathering of the high and mighty in the land, investors, business moguls and industry icons as guests turned out from the north, east and west to celebrate the landmark effort from an enterprising organization. The row-call of royal personalities included His Royal Majesty, the Alafin of Oyo Empire, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, who was ably represented by the daughter - Princess Arewa Shade Adeyemi and HRM, Oba Dr. S.A.A Oyefusi (CON).

Other notable individuals at the event were some A-list personalities like, Honourable Kehinde Odeneye, Alhaji Ahmad Rabiu, Otunba (Sir) O. A. Lawal, Honourable Ganiyu Olusegun Olulade, Mr. Xiaohui Zheng, Honourable Abike Dabiri, Hajia Abibat Haruna, Dr. Olujobi Ososanya, Mr. Rabiu Suleman Bichi and Honourable Monsuru Owolabi Alao among others.

According to the Publisher/Chairman, International Links Magazine, Mr. Niyi Dada, 'For us as individuals or a nation to be successful, we must do what needs to be done. And until that time when Nigeria attains its position among the committee of great nations, Links International will continue to confront Nigerians, right from the Presidency to Legislators, Governors, Local Governments, all and sundry.' If you keep doing what you have always done, definitely you should expect to get what you have always got, Dada said.

The publisher also stressed the need for African folks in the Diaspora to look inwards, though it is obvious they find themselves in relatively the best places to live in terms of comforts and infrastructures. However it is important to note that Africa today is the best place to make or create wealth, because wealth is a function or reward for service and its only in Africa that the long acquired skills and experiences are important and valuably rewarded.

Princess Arewa Shade Adeyemi commended Links Publications for the timely magazine, as it focuses to provide bond and connections for African businesses globally. The publication is a perquisite to success for any business in today's modern society, building bridges to connecting Nigeria and Africa to the rest of the world. She also used the opportunity to acknowledge the youth development initiatives by the organization, which has given Oyo State a facelift in recent times.

The new magazine is positioned to inform the rest of the world about investments and enormous opportunities abound in Africa while also encouraging Nigerians to tap into the key ingredients of a fruitful investment - capital, technology, market and raw materials. The International Links magazine have different segments which cuts across property acquisitions, Agricultural development, education opportunities, tourism, the reunion of the black race and sports development to mention a few.
