Bravo Supreme court!

Diaspora (France) Bravo Supreme court!
AUG 5, 2013 LISTEN

The first phase of the trial on the 2013 election has come to a successful end. All those involved in the trial have put their cards on the table and those who have ears and eyes have heard and seen clearly the malpractices which went on during the election.

Members of the NPP in France have followed the proceedings and wish to express our gratitude to all those involved in the trial.

The role played by our Lords of the supreme court is very commendable If they continue to eschew political affiliation, favouritism and bias, the nation would be at peace. The only thing which will bring peace to our nation is a JUST VERDICT. We are humbly appealing to the judges to continue to show tolerance and be open-minded in their sacred duty to their dear nation.

We wish to extend our hearty congratulations to Nana Addo for showing maturity and statemanship in these days of political provocations. By choosing to go to court, you have saved Ghanaians from waton destruction of properties.

We are hopeful that future generation will emulate your gesture and wars during and after election would be a thing of the past

We also appreciate the role played by all the learned friends or the legal teams of the various political parties , they have shown comportment and have exhibited political torelance in their legal battle .

We are hopeful that as they go on writing their addresses to the court , they would put Ghana first , and not the political parties they represent .

Our appeal to the nation is that no one or group of people should mal the good work done by Nana Addo . A just verdict by the supreme court should be accepted by all and the peace and unity we are praying for should continue to be our guiding principles .

To avoid possible political tumoil after the supreme court verdict members of the members of the peace council of Ghana and the Ghana Arm Forces should put a system in place which would stamp out all possible disturbances .

We also recommend that both the NDC and NPP should continue to educate their members not to take the law into their own hands after the final verdict .

Another area of concern is jubilations after the verdict has been given . This should be done in an orderly manner so as not to generate any provocation . We recommend that at least one week notice should be given to the police before any party goes on the street to celebrate victory . We wish Gana well and pray that Ghana will continue to make history for other African nations to emulates
