Fan Milk donates litter bins to Kasoa schools

Fan Milk Limited has donated 100 litter bins, 100 branded footballs, 20 watering cans and 600 tree seedlings to some selected schools in the Awutu Senya East Municipality in the Central Region.

The programme which was jointly organised by the Ghana National Scholarship Beneficiaries Association (GNASBA), the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly and the Ghana Education Service (GES), was under the theme: Restoring the environment to its original state: Our responsibility was under the chairmanship of Mr Ebenezer Oscar Asare, the Municipal Director of Education.

Presenting the package from Fan Milk, Mr Kwasi Attuah, the Sales and Marketing Manager of the company commended the commitment of teachers, students and people of the communities towards the clean-up exercise which preceded the presentation.

He announced that Fan Milk would continue to support the school health and agricultural programmes as part of his company's corporate social responsibility.

He appealed to the students and pupils to learn hard and become responsible future leaders of the country.

In his key note address, Mr Adams Nuhu, the Municipal Chief Executive, commended Fan Milk and GNASBA for their efforts in promoting the school health and agricultural programmes over the past 20 years.

He appealed to Fan Milk to continue with the support.

For his part, Baffour Akwasi Oppong, National Chairman of GNASBA, appealed to the assemblies to help the GES to make good use of this year's rainy season to grow more trees on various school compounds.
