The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts has indicated its readiness to work closely with the Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF) to help repackage and market Ghana's tourism to the benefit of industry practitioners and Ghanaians as a whole.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the Federation, the sector Minister Mrs. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adyare stressed how tourism can collectively be developed through the public-private partnership to make Ghana the most preferred tourist destination in Africa.

She however cautioned GHATOF not to compromise on quality of service and her ministry will empower the Ghana Tourism Authority to flush out unregistered and unlicensed tourism enterprises which operates illegally.

On his part, the newly sworn in President Mr. David Nana Anim on behalf of his colleagues promised a paradigm shift in the operations of the federation and assured stakeholders how his administration would work to make Ghatof an attractive entity.

Other working committee sworn in include the Legal team, the media and marketing committee and the technical team.
