The Kwakwaduam Association Inc. of New York was invited by the World Vision to participate in the Bronx Week as a part of the Networking platform of the World Vision held on Thursday, May 16th, 2013
Commenting on the program, Mrs Lydia Apronti, a member of the Research and Grant Writing Team of Kwakwaduam Association Inc. indicated that the occasion was a fantastic opportunity for Kwakwaduam to form strategic partnerships and that the World Vision has been instrumental in the progress of Kwakwaduam. Kwakwaduam was represented by Mr. Paul Ansah and Mrs Lydia Apronti.
Mr. Mark Saforo, President of the Organization indicated that the strength of such Non profits depends on its ability to network and Kwakwaduam has established great networking capabilities. Lectures on Disaster Readiness and Volunteer Management were given at the forum
The program was attended by various Non Profit and Community Based Organizations in the Bronx and within the Network of the World Vision and included the Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Bronx Works, Mont Lawn City Camp, Boricua College and Okuapeman Fekuw. The purpose of the meeting was to enable the organizations to form strategic partnerships to enhance the work they do.
Kwakwaduam is a community based Non-Profit Organization whose mission is to organize activities to enhance the socio-economic, educational, health, cultural and financial aspects of its members and the community and to extend the community and to extend the same to Ghana and Africa in general.
