Accra, May 17, GNA - Mr Rudolph Perfect Kwaku Beckley, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) on Friday tasked the staff to ensure quality service delivery to help promote its image.
He said quality service delivery by the DVLA would eliminate the canker of corruption popularly known as 'goro boys' which has bedevilled it over the years.
Mr Beckley was speaking at a staff durbar in Tema during a familiarisation tour of DVLA vehicle examination centres in Tema and Weija near Accra.
He asked the personnel to adhere to the authority's core values.
The Acting CEO said staff motivation and training would be given priority during his term in office.
He said: 'We are going to leave no stone unturned to make sure that we deliver. I will have an opened door policy where people will be encouraged to work.'
Mr Beckley praised the staff of the Authority for their hard work and dedication to duty over the years and urged them to do more.
