Final year student at the Akuse Methodist senior High School sustain severe cane marks

A final year student at the Akuse Methodist senior High School in the Eastern Region has sustained serious body injuries from severe beatings by two teachers for leaving campus without due permission.
According to a medical officer who attended to her at the Akuse Government hospital, the girl came there with severe bruises all over her body.
When questioned, the student claimed two teachers whose names were given only as Mr. Tengue and Mr. Adolf yesterday spanked her with a big cane in the presence of the head teacher as her punishment for breaking school rules.
