The Widower Mr. Fuzzy Kombat in a tribute said, and I quote, It is with a heavy heart that I pay you this tribute for the state I am in now. Madam as I affectionately called you always brought smiles on my face but today this same name brings tears as I call you.
Eunice Teni Kombat was everything to me. She knew how much I treasured her, how much I thanked her for being such a wonderful partner, mother and friend, for close to 24 years. My family and I thank you so much and we will always remember you.
On the part of the Children, this was their tribute, and I quote, The word Mother could work magic on emotions of every child, but for us even as adults, it means a whole lot more. Our Mother was the personification of love and care. She was an angle sent by God to look after her children and constantly ensured we were adequately clothed, safe and well-fed. Our Mother continually showered love on us, readily forgave our mistakes and stood as a pillar of strength, courage, inspiration and solace for us. You were the bank where all our emotions, sorrows and expectations were deposited.
The occasion also saw both heads of departments and politicians, including DCEs and MPs of the area.
