The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been unveiled to technology savvy and phone lovers at a colourful ceremony in Kumasi.
The latest of Samsung's fourth generation phones is designed to get consumers closer to what matters in life and bring their world together.
Local Samsung partner, JOBOST Phones in Kumasi, partnered Samsung Electronics to introduce to product to consumers in the Ashanti region.
Regional Deputy Minister, Samuel Yaw Adusei, at the product launch, alluded to the importance of mobile technologies in playing competitively on the global stage.
'The Ashanti region will patronize the product thinking about the offer that this new technological gadget gives to us in terms of education, in terms of knowledge, in terms of information', said the Deputy Minister.
Just a week after the product's introduction on the Kumasi market, sales and customer patronage of the Samsung S4 have been described as fantastic.
'It's a hot cake. People can't even get the quantities that they want; Kumasi is actually selling a lot, Tamale is selling a lot', stated Joris Dweben, Samsung Retail Manager for the Northern Sector. 'This we know is going to overtake the remarkable sales that we really chalked with the S3'.
The Ashanti regional launch coincided with the opening of the Samsung VIP office by JOBOST Phones at Asokwa for busy executives to experience special offers.
According to Managing Director of JOBOST, Joseph Osei Tutu, 'Samsung Galaxy S4 has been accepted in the market and its wow, amazing we are trying to grow our customers from bronze to platinum where they can have unique packages from us; that is why we have branded this place as VIP to serve that better'.
