Curious Bawumia wary of same handwritings by NPP, NDC polling agents on pink sheet

A curious Dr. Mahammudu Bawumia, witness-in-the-box, has inferred today amidst laughter that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) polling agent may have attested to election results for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) polling agent on exhibit MBQ448.

Dr. Bawumia, under cross-examination in the election petition hearing at the Supreme Court was shown that exhibit by Counsel for NDC, Tsatsu Tsikata to identify.

He rightfully identified the exhibit and attested to the signature of the only two polling agents – NDC and NPP.

Your polling agent signed is that correct?, Tsatsu queried.

"Yes" Bawumia affirmed but added that he had made a curious observation on the right side on the pink sheet.

"It is very interesting…the NDC signed and wrote “accepted /good” and under the NPP column it is accepted. But interestingly the two are the same handwriting", he said.

This observation threw the court into a fit of laughter. The witness however denied that the perceived anomaly was a “major malpractice” but nonetheless “a curiosity”.
