The NPP Party's petition to the Supreme Court concerning rigging the 2012 Election has marked a turning point in Ghanaian politics and because of that certain things ought to be done to celebrate this momentous achievement. We are viewing on the Ghanaian Television and also on the YouTube around the world day and night how lawmakers are deliberating on this issue and the judiciary, on the other hand, are brilliantly arguing for or against concerning this case in the Supreme Court. Both lawyers on the either side are performing wonderfully well and despite its partisan nature, people of all walks of life see it as worthy to be emulated by all African nations. It shows that we have come very far in our democratic development and therefore something must be done to crown this significant achievement.
As I contemplate on this monumental achievement, something that comes to my mind is the building of a special library for our lawmakers or parliamentarians just as the USA has done very close to the Capitol Hill. The Library of Congress, built by its founding fathers, furnishes these distinguish lawmakers of the greatest nation on earth with superb knowledge, from both ancient and modern civilisations. With this knowledge they have the entire globe in its hands, whether we like it or not. Establishing this same library in Ghana should be the crowning moment of the petition case in the court, and I think those involved in the case, that is, either Nana Akuffo Addo and Dr Bawumia either of them who becomes the next President should make it his priority to build it just opposite the Presidential Palace at Accra or somewhere in the capital city of Accra.
On many occasions the United States of America has deceived the world as if their strength and power comes from only armaments and the number of people living in this great nation. As one becomes meticulous and ponders philosophically, it becomes obviously apparent that America's strength and its stupendous democracy owe much to its colossal knowledge, acquired through books from the ancient as well as from the modern civilisation. This is all the more reason why America as an Empire shall endure for a long time; probably it will be longest in the history of the known world. Each year this greatest country in the world invests huge sums of money into its numerous education systems, which have spread out all over the world. They care not where those to be educated hail from around the globe, but instead the propensity to contribute to knowledge becomes their prime interest. If Ghana emulates the USA and the manner she thirsts for knowledge and power through books rather than weapons acquired throughout the ages, no nation can withstand this smallest country in the South of Sahara who once played an important role as the longest civilisation that ever grew alongside the River Nile (Nsu nnae).
I therefore charge Dr Bawumia and Nana Akuffo Addo, whoever becomes the next President of Ghana to make it his priority to build a special library for the Lawmakers of Ghana who have shown to the world that they are proficient and reliable and have forever in the world overcome the military urge to utilise barbaric means to solve the problems of Africans. Hurray!! Hurray!! We shun all 'robot politicians' and 'puppet politicians,' who through inferior complex usurped power instead of using the brain, the greatest gift ever given to man, to solve problems of mankind.
