Will The Deceptions Of Easter Celebrations Be Righted Before The Lord's Return? (Part 2 Of 2)

Will The Deceptions Of Easter Celebrations Be Righted Before The Lord's Return? Part 2 Of 2
29.03.2013 LISTEN

On the Sunday morning that Yeshua met Mary Magdalene at the tomb area, she was given the honor of breaking the news of his resurrection to the apostles; sadly, they never believed her. Later, upon reflecting on the baffling issue of an empty tomb, the apostles were led by the Wisdom of Elohim to understand what Yeshua had earlier-on told them about his resurrection, after three days and nights of being in the earth.

The apostles did not believe Yeshua to be the Messiah, on the basis of the events of the Sunday morning—as told to them by Mary Magdalene and of their own verification of the empty tomb. Rather, under the unction of the Holy Spirit, they went back in time to when Yeshua told them of what the proof of his Messiah-ship by the Most High One would be.

Then, counting three days from the time they laid Yeshua to rest in the tomb, they were led to know the exact time of the resurrection as not being on the First Day of the week—Sunday—but at the start of Saturday, at the very sunset hour that they buried their Master.

If the apostles had the minutest of doubts about the timing of Yeshua's resurrection—a timed resurrection that was to prove to scoffers that Yeshua is indeed the Messiah—then they would not have had faith in him. They would have rejected all that Yeshua taught them, in four years of serious discipleship training, as not being worthy of their belief.

And then, the Gospel message for mankind's salvation would have been still-born. And then, mankind would have remained in his sins to date, without a credible Messiah in Yeshua because he failed to resurrect at the set time of the Most High One.

Just when the Adversary knew he could not stop Yeshua's resurrection, he mounted a campaign immediately after he was laid to rest, (cf. Matthew 27:62-66), to prepare the minds of mankind to doubt and reject the resurrection whenever it happened, so mankind would be denied the benefits of Yeshua's sacrifice.

After failing in all this, he has today managed to pollute the faith of salvation seekers into believing, accepting, and living by his deception of a Sunday resurrection. In the end, the Adversary has achieved what he sought in the very beginning—that is, to prevent mankind from entering the salvation of Elohim in Yeshua.

After being successful in this, he worked out a plan to perpetually keep salvation seekers in his grip and in darkness. This, he has done in giving to them his own times, days, holidays (not holy days), and beliefs, which mankind, for close to two millennia, has not bothered to consider if the observance of such pleases the Creator.

The deception by clergymen that Yeshua resurrected on a Sunday has for close to two millennia placed the chances of those in this deception, of entering the blessings of Yeshua's sacrifice on hold. Unknown by many clergymen and their numerous followers, their strong but misguided faith in Sunday as the resurrection day of Yeshua, their yearly celebration of this day, and their misconception and veneration of Sunday as the Lord's Day, has taken them off course—making them do an about turn from the salvation of Elohim.

The Lord's Day, since Creation, has always been the Seventh Day of the week—known in today's speech as Saturday. This Seventh Day is forever made to be holy by the Most High One. It is a day hallowed and forever set apart by Him unto the coming of Age. The Most High One has made laws to govern mankind's behavior in relation to this Seventh Day; laws that are never to be broken by any people He is in covenant with.

But alas, because of the deception by clergymen that the Lord's Day has been purposefully changed by Elohim from Saturday to Sunday in consonance with a resurrection they claim took place on Sunday, but was never so, all the laws that relate to the Seventh Day are not only broken, but are also discarded by people who claim to be in the salvation of Elohim and who also believe that they are safely marching on to the Holy City of The Almighty!

At what point in time, did Elohim transfer His holy and eternal laws on the Seventh Day to a Sunday observance? Elohim has always brought the ultimate punishment upon anyone who breaks the laws of His Sabbaths. In this regard is the account of the execution of a Sabbath-law breaker in Numbers 15:32-36.

If Elohim instructed for the execution of a man who broke His Sabbath-law in trying to cook manna received from Him for his belly, why do you suppose He will not do same to all who break this same law today? Is Elohim a respecter of persons? Does Elohim show favoritism? Does Elohim show inconsistencies in the manner He deals with people of various generations and differing era? Never! Otherwise, how could He say of Himself in His Word that He does not change but is the same yesterday, today and forever? (cf. Malachi 3:6, Hebrew 13:8).

Mankind must be mindful of the fact that, at Creation, Elohim created all His days to commence at sunset and end at sunset, and that His will and purposes in these remain same to date. It is sad that even this simple truth that each day that Elohim created began at sunset and ended at sunset, is hardly known by mankind today. Men, have, for a long time chosen to believe their fellow men who figure that each day starts at sunrise and ends at sunrise; making the Creator to be a liar!

When the Creator identified and called the days that He created according to their succession, mankind has sought to prove himself wiser than his Maker in renaming them in ways different from the manner of the Creator.

When Elohim calls His day the First Day, men suppose it better to call it Sunday (Sun Day?); for Elohim's Second Day men have chosen to call it Monday (Moon Day?); for His Seventh Day men prefer to call it Saturday (Saturn or Satan Day?)! Is there a reason for man to love to do this?

According to the Hebrew calendar, every one of the twelve months of the year has either thirty days or twenty-nine: and these numbers of days alternate with the months. The first month of the year, Abib or Nisan, has thirty days; followed by Zif, the second month of the year, which has twenty-nine days. The rest come in this alternating order.

This calendar ruled the world and smoothly directed the activities of holy men for about two millennia until the so-called Gregorian or Roman calendar came to replace it. The world since, has accepted this replacement, oblivious of the fact that some being, by this, has taken all mankind from the Will of Elohim.

What has mankind gained from throwing away the simple calendar of the Almighty for a complicated one with some months having thirty-one days, others thirty, and others twenty-eight, becoming twenty-nine during leap years, but confusion and a deviation from the will of the Creator?

The Seventh Day of the week which Elohim hallowed and set apart, calling it His holy day, and commanded His children to never work in it, has been desecrated by almost all salvation seekers, after the apostolic era, because they have been misled to believe that the day of Yeshua's resurrection took place on Sunday to make it holier than the Seventh Day!

Man has chosen to lazy about on the First Day of the week—Sunday—when it is Elohim's most serious working day! People are just too zealous today in venerating Sunday to the extent that what has for centuries been an evening ritual by holy men, in the annual observance of what is reverentially called the Lord's Supper, in private homes, has now become the Lord's Breakfast of Sunday mornings, in so-called churches where the large congregations of celebrants hardly know each other enough to have any worthy fellowship.

And there is no one to think otherwise? How sad. In all this deception and confusion brought by a so-called Easter Sunday against the holy and pure faith of the apostles of Yeshua, one can only cry out to the Most High One—maranatha. The question is: Before this coming, will these deceptions of Easter celebrations be righted?
