Cyberoam unveils NG series with launch of fastest UTM appliances in Ghana

Accra, March 8, GNA - Cyberoam, the leading global network security appliances company, has unveiled in Ghana its latest NG (next generation) series of security devices in IT networks that offer the fastest UTM (unified threat management) appliances.

'The NG series devices offer future-ready security coming with best-in-class hardware, along with software to match to offer up to five times the average industry throughputs,' Kalpesh Maheshwari, Cyberoam International Sales and Business Development Manager said during the unveiling in Accra on Thursday.      

The Cyberoam NG Series enables SOHO/SMBs networks to become future-ready as they move towards gigabit network infrastructure and high Internet speeds. They come with a powerful hardware consisting of Gigahertz processors for nano second security processing along with Gigabit Ethernet ports and high port density.

'The NG series appliances delivers the best class firewall and UTM throughputs based on CyberoamOS as the most intelligent and powerful Cyberoam firmware till date,' he said.

To achieve the best throughputs levels, Mr Maheshwari said a network security appliance must reach beyond high processor speeds.

He said with the NG series, a complete overhaul of the appliance design had resulted into unmatched performance gain with next generation memory.
