The Constituency Chairman, Nana Braimah told Sunyani-based Ark FM that a committee had been put in place to investigate the matter and if found culpable they would face possible summary dismissal from the NDC.

According to Nana Braimah, the two executives have caused many problems for the party in the constituency since they sabotaged DCEs in the district.

He cited the former DCE, Owusu Amoako, who was sacked by the late President Mills in similar episode.

He accused the two of bypassing him and the entire executives to write a letter whose content was inaccurate.

The constituency chairman said he held a meeting with the two beleaguered officials and the only reason they offered for their action was that the DCE at a point in time failed to pick their telephone calls.

DAILY GUIDE has gathered there is uneasy calm among constituency executives and party members following the suspension of the two officials.

The supporters of the two executives, especially women in the party, vowed to resist any attempt by party executives, backed by the DCE, to alienate their political idols in the party.

According to a section of the party supporters, who spoke to DAILY GUIDE, the DCE, Apraku Lartey who contested the constituency parliamentary elections in the last elections on the ticket of the NDC and lost, had failed to live up to expectations and should therefore not be retained as DCE because the move would dwindle the fortunes of the party in the area.
