The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Gomoa East, Hon. The Assembly operates with the National Investment Bank (NIB) and the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB).

The amount of money that was taken from the Assembly's account at the National Investment Bank (NIB) is GHȼ87, 125.00 while the amount of money that was taken from the Assembly's account at the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) is GHȼ 300.000.00.

In 2011, the said amounts belonging to the Gomoa District Assembly in the said banks were fraudulently signed by unknown person(s) without the knowledge of the Assembly.

The DCE assured the people of Gomoa East and the general public that all the development projects that need to be done would not suffer any setbacks.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Gomoa East, Hon. Isaac Kingsley Ahunu-Armah expressed his gratitude to the banks for keeping faith with the Assembly during the course of negotiations and also hoped that the already existing cordial relationship the Assembly has enjoyed from them would continue as far as their daily transactions are concerned.
