Many people are confused concerning the fraud case of 2012 elections, which Nana Addo Dankwah and the NPP Party purported to have won and so took the case to the Supreme Court or filed a petition to this Nation's Supreme Court. There are others who feel shy about mentioning this procedure and so have it difficult to clarify their positions or explain to others. If there is anything at all that is good and encouraging to hear, it is that the NPP as a mature and enlightened party is educating the immature NDC Party that through obsessive-compulsive disposition had rigged in to win an election just because through inferiority complex they discovered that if this were not done any opportunity given to NPP Party to go a run-off would give its potential candidate Nana Addo Darkwah to win. This was the reason why we went through this upheaval, which would have set this nation on fire had it not been our mature behaviors and excellent manner that our coping strategies have furnished or enshrined in our temperaments.
Meticulous dissection, prolonged studies, and analyses of this fraud case are not only to help prevent future occurrences, but also to advise Ghanaians to adopt a proper procedure which will aid them to elect their presidents. One would realize from the investigations made so far that we need to ponder now over how the awarding of electoral votes to the regions could help elect the most powerful man in the country. The influx into the country by populations from nearby regions to vote as a result of becoming citizens overnight would be prevented if we were to combine this method, which had helped the USA to deal with such problems hovering around elections and thereby help avoiding conflicts in their country. If Ghana had utilised the Electoral College Approach based on the number of people living in every region in the country, no amount of fraud could have aided any President to have won easily as a result of fraud of what others purported that they had won easily. Those electoral votes which we are proposing here should be looked into as the impending case is going on in the Supreme Court, and especially those to be performing the pledge to the country and its citizens after the elections will be the chiefs/kings who, after each elections, base on the winner takes all would award the electoral votes to the candidate that carried that particular region.
The fraud case involving 2012 General Election has nothing to do with religion, whether somebody is tribalistic, good, arrogant, or clever. It is to prevent these cases from happening in future that is the reason why we are pursuing this case, and any time such approach is used by any party to win elections, members should not be afraid or scared to point out and find different ways and manners it could be impeded. We are indeed progressing not deteriorating by going through this stage of our democratic development and Ghanaians should be thankful for the personality of Nana Addo Dankwah (instead of insulting him or finding faults with him), who did not only opposed the former Ghanaian dictator, President Rawlings, but also the Neo-Coup d'etat era of President Mahama. Ghana has since independence gone through (2) Democracy Infancy, (3) Coup d'etat Era, and (4) Neo-Coup detat Era. The colonial era would be classified to be the (1) Crawling stage of Ghana's democracy. The Golden time of our democracy is yet in the future where as a results of these detection of frauds, fumbles, conspiracies, fake citizens, we will seal all the loopholes which will help Neo-coup detat party such as the NDC to win through fraud. Mr Bagbin should therefore not think that Ghanaians are going to be fools as many years ago we were to just sit down once more for the Neo-coup d'etat party to rule another 20 years. God forbid! Time changes and Ghanaians are people that learn fast, for because we did not take for granted the problems encountered so many years, we have been capable of gathering data and information that would help us surmount those problems to be faced in the future. This election has taught us one thing and, that is, that we need to learn and act fast in order to adopt the use of Electoral College to solve the problems involve in the choosing of our leader, otherwise this peaceful nation will one day find itself being engulfed in a civil war. Those who have the gift of observation and are not biased in their analyses would tell it loud that we are heading toward an unknown future of our democratic development if we do not learn from our mistakes and act on them quickly.
I would therefore like to congratulate Nana Addo Dankwah for his bold step and his meticulous manner he has conducted himself during this fraud case. Nana Addo, Ghanaians are aware that on two consecutive elections you had obtained over 49% of the votes Ghanaian people cast for a president. Due to your mature personality and your belief in fairness and the use of sound democratic principles to occupy the Presidency chair, you refrained from rigging though you could have done that easily. If after going through this case of fraud the distinguished justices should find that the elections were rigged which prevented you from securing the 56% which authentic projections had earlier predicted before the elections. This selfless and intelligent politician should be congratulated and thanked for his bravely by being declared the next President of the Republic of Ghana. Once you are given this opportunity, many reforms should be instituted which includes the manner we elect our presidents. Ghana parliament would help you to accomplish this task successfully. Keep up with the good work concerning Ghana's democracy! Others may think of you as ambitious, but many deep thinkers in this country know that your intentions are different and they are noble ones.
Long live NPP Party!
Long live the Republic of Ghana!
Long live our Democracy!
