Apam (C/R), Oct. 31, GNA - The Apam Citizens Association based in London has donated a set of jerseys worth about 500,000 cedis to Apamite Football Club of Apam as their contribution to the development of sports in the town. Mrs Agnes Bondzie, a retired nursing officer and a member of the association presented the jerseys on behalf of the citizens to the team. Mrs Bondzie said it was the wish of the association to see a football club from Apam playing in one of the national competitions and urged members of the club to take their training seriously since without that they could not achieve any laurels. Mr Joseph Ledlum, Team Manager, who received the items thanked the donors and assured them that they would be put to good use. Mr J.K. Ayetey, Apam Sport Organiser advised the players to be discipline and amenable to instructions.
