Kumasi, Sept. 30, GNA – Oheneba Adusei Poku, Akyempimhene of Kumasi, has inaugurated a GH¢150,000 clinic project at the Prempeh College in Kumasi with a call on students to be law-abiding.

Discipline, he said, determines the success of any individual and society, saying students were obliged to be always obedient and also stay focused in their academic work.

The project was funded by the “1977 Year Group” of the College to promote healthcare delivery.

It comprises a dispensary, laboratory, pharmacy, consulting room, changing room, main and side wards, a well and wash rooms.

The project is expected to replace the outmoded clinic of the College built many decades ago.

Oheneba Poku, also an old student, praised his colleagues for the initiative, saying it behooved on the old students to endeavour to give back to the school.

He said it was the duty of management and students to work assiduously to maintain the high standards set by the school.

Mr Martin Bannerman, the Project Coordinator, announced plans by the Group to construct nurses' quarters to provide accommodation for the health personnel.

Dr. Yaw Poku-Gyamfi, a member of the Group, advised the old students to interact with the students on regular basis to share their experiences with them.
