Ejisu (Ash), Sept. 21, GNA – The Ejisuman Senior High School (SHS) has taken delivery of a 36-seater bus to help ease the transportation problem it experiences.
It is a fulfillment of a pledge made to the school by the President, Mr John Dramani Mahama, during its 40 year celebration, last year.
Mr Kwaku Afrifa Yamoah-Ponko, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu-Juaben, handed over the keys to the vehicle at a ceremony.
He advised the management of the SHS to ensure its regular servicing to make it last.
The Reverend Collins Oppong-Anne, the Headmaster, said the bus could not have come at a better time and that it would greatly enhance academic and sporting programmes in school.
He expressed his gratitude to the President for the gift.
Present at the ceremony was Madam Gertrude Mensah, the Municipal Director of Education.
