The NDC Chairman of the newly created Yunyoo Constituency in the Northern region, Mr. Abu Adam, has criticized a reports put by the NPP on GBC Radio last week ,stating that, some members of the NDC party have left to NPP.
I want to put in records that, not a single member of the NDC has moved from the party to any party, talking of moving to NPP party whose fortunes for the 2012 elections is permanently closed. Abu added.
According to, Mr. Abu Adam, “I listen to the reports on GBC by one of my elder brothers from the NPP which was most unfortunate” I'm sorry to add that, such misleading information shouldn't have been carried by our national Radio station since it is the widest broadcasting station in the country. I found the reports as a calculated attempt by the NPP in the area to through fabrication in the public domain.
Even though our constituency is new with all respect, I have done several cross checking from the records of our mother constituency (Bunkpurugu) and there is no any group of people from the party emigrates to the NPP. I can confirm that, if there are really people who have joined the NPP as it is being said, then such people are not card bearing/sympathizers of the great NDC party. Abu expressed.
The Youth and Employment Coordinator noted that, the claim by the NPP, that, those individuals are from the constituency may be true, but my investigations reveals that, there are some few girls who are based in Accra for more than 7 to 10 years now surviving on Cayaye.
We in the NDC rather get new members joining the Party every day with new NDC party cards and for that, matter if the NPP can prove to the people of this country with photo copies their party cards, we would appreciate it, others wise they should forget and wait in 2017 for yet another Presidential/parliamentary raise. Abu was sure that, 2012 elections is One Touch Victory for NDC, Ghanaians have already decided for President John Mahama and for that matter the NDC across board. He added.
The NDC Chairman who was speaking in an interview with this paper narrated that, the NYEP in the Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo District, has employed close to 1089 beneficiaries within the 3 and half years of the NDC government as compared to the 8years of the NPP with only 320 beneficiaries in all the modules. He further explained that, these were amongst the reasons why Ghanaians has decided already to allow the NDC to continue with its Better Ghana Agenda for all.
I must admit that, all though I was appointed as interim chairman for the constituency, my candidate Hon Joseph Naabu (Lawyer) is well grounded with the electorates and would peacefully win the elections without any challenges.
Abu, however alleged that, NPP is well known in Ghanaian politics of giving inaccurate information to the public especially in the electronic and print medium which is the secret of their gradual downfall in wining power.

so this fool is a coordinator of the NYEP a job created by the NPP and he is spewing out this rubbish? i thought he was going tell us about the jobs created by the NDC and not what the NPP created. s long as they continue to work in the NYEPs and NHIS and other such jobs created by the NPP they should know that they are employees of the NPP and every job created by these entities will be seen as jobs created by the NPP though they are not in office. they better respect the mighty and development...
