Christian women urged to stop indecent dressing behaviour

27.08.2012 LISTEN
By Paul Yankey

Head Pastor of The Coming of Jesus Christ Prayer Fellowship, Evangelist Paul Boateng has urged christian women to shy away from indecent forms of dressing which do not edify the temple of God.

He therefore asked women who wear pair of trousers and decorate their bodies with indecent make-ups to desist from the practice because it was against the principles of God.

Preaching the sermon at 37 in Accra, Evangelist Boateng urged leaders of the flock to expose women to the word of God to keep themselves as vessels of the Lord to his glory.

He said wearing of trousers could expose women to diseases and even affect their womb as the free-flow of air into their bodies is mostly obstructed by the trousers.

Evangelist Boateng noted that wearing of trousers reduces the dignity and respect of women in society adding that traditional culture frowned on that.

The phenomenon, he noted has gradually eroded the cultural values of Ghana and called on the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Culture to act decisively to arrest the situation.

He said as women they must always be decent in their dressing so as to attract decent men into their lives as marital partners.

Evangelist Boateng asked other men of God to drum home the message of indecent dressing among women in contemporary Ghana to abate the canker.

The Pastor advised women to study the word of God in order to walk in his ordinances and glorify his name.
