Ghana rise up! Stand for investors

Foreign investors travel from their countries to other nations with the purpose of investing or facilitating Projects that brings forth blessings to the country they get involved with and sometimes get back some profit for their keeps. Should in case an investor runs at a lost after investing so much in any field of injection of funds, must he /she be killed?

After several years of being in Ghana, Madam Lorinda Liang invested in six (6) companies that are fully incorporated and registered in Ghana. At least she provided more than hundred of jobs to the citizens of our dear nation Ghana. Madam Lorinda Liang decided to have a management team so they can take care of her investments so she could go back to Denver in the United States of America where she lives to cater for her family and other projects she embraced.

Surprisingly, Lorinda came back to Ghana to meet huge deficits where all her $12million investments got lost in thin air. She decided to approach authorities including the office of the president of the Republic of Ghana with petitions. All hope not lost decided to bring up a disclaimer news item on the Wednesday 24, 2010 edition of the Daily Graphic , cautioning the buy and sell business men and women and the entire public her company CHYUAN CHYA GHANA INVESTMENT LTD or herself wouldn't be in position for any liability when they have any gold transaction with her former staffs( General manager; Kweku Effah Asuahene, Security Coordinator; Kwabena Kru Afful, Accountant; Ben Addo Mantey,Metallurgist; Oheneba Quartson,Mechanical assistant; Oscar Moore, Marketing Assistant; Frederick Dickson, Driver; Sesseh Harleem.

Lorinda's approach to justice rather brought her curses. Thanks be to the National Communication Authority (N.C.A) for the policy of registration of SIM cards as she was then severally threatened to be killed where unknown numbers were used asking her to leave Ghana before she is murdered.

Because Lorinda was calm, respectful and have the people of Ghana at heart, she proposed many projects to several ministries in Ghana; working so hard with the funding. She was then liaised to Ghana politics where she was questioned by many asking why she loved the NDC rather than any other party. She said '' am here for Ghana not for any party. I will continue to help projects should any other government rule Ghana''. Lorinda almost died on the 7th of June, 2009 when she was attacked by armed robbers where she firmly suspects it was arranged by her former staffs. I strongly believe there are more investors who are with good intensions but are going through terrible paths as such.

After the temporal closure of CCGIL; Lorinda Liang had an agreement with now the UNIDO Boss Mr. Eric Appiateng and moved to stay in a then part completed house now a mansion behind the Menvic Grand Hotel. The latter then introduced his 5th power of Attorney, Richard Pomeyie and that begun another tragedy. One may ask, is it because Lorinda changed the house to a better place to stay? She spent thousands of dollars changing the whole plumbing structure in the walls of the storey because no water drainage through the entire building and many among others. The law court was the best place to solve matters of this source so a warning was issued to both sides not to go into the building until investigations are done. Richard continued to go into the building and sometimes with former staffs of Lorinda whom where bought with money to give out corporate documents.

Until date at the Osu Magistrate Court, it has been a year of ''go and come'' affair without any trial. It's a shocker to know GHANAWEB today published a news item headed UNIDO BOSS DRAGGED TO COURT. Richard Pomeyie the Power of Attorney for Eric Appiateng is suing the latter for spending millions of Ghana cedis on the building Lorinda raised to a mansion. Better still Richard is claiming what Lorinda has spent with her money from the UNIDO boss Eric. This case must be dealt with properly and decently.

The accused Lorinda of being fraudulent never went through trial for a year since there was no truth and basis of why she was sued but rather they wanted her to give up the million of dollars she wasted and pains she managed to endure just for the interest of some few greedy people. She believes soon the government will eradicate crooks and fraudsters from the nation Ghana. We need investors and sponsors to come create more employment so our indigenes especially the younger ones will grow to inherit what we have worked for till date. Why then don't we the great citizens stand up, help and stop fraud in Ghana. Our investors need to live and not die.
