Accra, Aug. 10, GNA - Foreign dignitaries who attended the final funeral rites of the late President John Evans Atta Mills have begun departing for their respective countries.
Those who have left Ghana so far include Mrs. Hilary Clinton, US Secretary of State and former First Lady of the US, Mr. Amitav Banerji, Political Advisor to the Commonwealth Secretariat, President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, and the Head of State of Niger.
The rest are Ali Bongo, President of Gabon, President Yayi Boni of Benin, the Vice President of South Africa, Kgalema Motlanthe, President Alhasan Quattara of Cote d'ivoire and the President of Senegal, Macky Sall.
Others are President Faure Nyasingbe of Togo and President Ellen Sirleaf Johnson of Liberia.
The late President Mills was laid to rest on Friday 10th, August 2012 in Accra, following his death on July 24th 2012.
