Ghanaians urged to learn from the late President's legacy

By GNA

Nkawkaw (E/R), Aug 10, GNA - The Kwahu West Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Alex Somuah Obeng, has called on Ghanaians to adopt the good lessons from the late President's legacy and implement them to enhance the development of the country.

He said this when addressing a large number of mourners from the Kwahu West Municipal area at the funeral ceremony of the late President at Nkawkaw.

Mr Obeng called for the establishment of an ideological institute in honour of the late President for people to study some of his ideas for the development of the country.

He advised Ghanaians to bury their political differences and work together to ensure peace in the country during the December polls.

The Nkawkaw District Pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Reverend Atiemo Aryeh, said all human being were created by God for a purpose and urged Ghanaians to contribute their quota to the development of the society.

He said the late president paid his due to the nation as he dedicated all his life to serve the country whole heartedly before being called to eternity and appealed to Ghanaians to emulate his example.
