Govt announces funeral date for President J. E. Atta Mills

The State Funeral for our Late Beloved President, H. E. John Evans Atta Mills will take place in Accra from Wednesday August s"to Friday August 10th 2012. The Funeral Service and Burial will be on Friday August io=. Further details will be announced later. Meanwhile, it is announced for the information of the general public and all concerned that the period of national mourning and lowering of the Ghana flags has been extended until after the State funeral. All public buildings are expected to be draped in red and black colours as well as the national flag to symbolize the state of national mourning.
