
Ghanaians in Germany were deeply saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of our beloved head of state of the Republic of Ghana, Prof. John Evans Atta-Mills.
For and on behalf of the NDC Germany Executives, the entire Ghanaian community in and outside Germany, we wish to share our deepest condolence to the first Lady, Dr Ernestina Naadu Mills and the family, the good people of Ghana as well as the respective organs of the government.
“President Mills is gone from our sight, but never our memories. Gone from our touch, but never our hearts. His goodness, his caring / humbleness and sense of wisdom live on, like a legacy of love that will always be with us.”
“Prof. Mills brought so many gifts and visions to the lives of Ghanaians. We shall never forget him. - We shall miss “Asomdwehene” Prof. Mills for ever and ever.
May his heart and soul find peace and comfort in the bosom of Abraham”.
We however, also take this opportunity to welcome the newly-sworn in Head of state, Mr. John Dramani Mahama and urge him to stand firm in the wake of this sad event.
Special communiqué released by NDC Germany communication directorate stated that, they have suspended further campaign programs and other related activities until further notice to enable the Germany Chapter join their comrades back home to mourn with the bereaved family.
