NASPA CALLS OFF ITS WEEK CELEBRATION IN HONOUR OF THE DEATH OF PRESIDENT MILLS

Following the declaration of one week state mourning in honour of the late President Mills as declared by the Current Head of State His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, leadership of NASPA wants to call on all NASPA blocs and all service personnel in this country to with one heart and mind CALL OFF ALL ACTIVITIES OF THE WEEK CELEBRATION which had already started from Monday 23rd JULY, 2012 in memory of our father and late President of the Republic.

With deep sorrows and regret we the National Service Personnel Association Ghana (NASPA) wish to extend our deepest condolence to the MILLS family and join other Ghanaians, to mourn the passing on unto glory of the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency, Professor John Evans Atta Mills. This is a difficult truth to believe but the reality of it has come to stay. O' DEATH, why have you suddenly stolen our leader and President away so soon? Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family, and all the Ghanaian people on this difficult moment. On behalf of the Association we wish to convey our deepest affection to the wife and family at this great loss of a husband, father and loved elder and humble statesman in this country. Our prayers are that God holds the family, his party and this nation in this tragic time. May His Soul Rest In Perfect Peace!
